Bass Pro Shops Next Generation filmed and participated in our Summer Camp. The kids loved it

At our summer camps, you and your children 16 years old and younger can participate in a special customized family getaway for three days and four nights. During sessions in June and July, they’ll learn various outdoor skills from some of the most prominent individuals in their sports. Our dedicated pro staffers teach campers about archery, clay target shooting, air rifle shooting, shotgun safety, ATV safety, kayaking on the Humaya River, remote-control car racing, swimming and much more.

            For instance, Jerry Martin, a well-known Bass Pro Shop hunting expert, came down to teach the kids about archery in 2009. See the Video!!  Kelsey Conrad, one of the show hosts, and her dad participated in one camp and filmed several shows. Who knows what famous person might visit in 2010?           Campers stay at our Anglers Inn resort on Lake Mateos, one of the hottest new fishing destinations in Mexico. Of course, campers sample the bass action on the lake where 100- to 150-fish days are not uncommon. Although most people know Lake Mateos for producing fabulous bass numbers, some kids who participated in June 2008 landed bass topping 10 pounds, not a bad feat for any angler! See the Video!!
